Petitioner seeks bail in Jandaha P.S. Case No.253 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged that total litres 1436.04 litres foreign liquor was recovered from the Pickup Van, which was standing on the main road. It is alleged that from the boot of the Pickup Van one diary was recovered, wherein, name of the petitioner was mentioned.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that Petitioner is in custody since 27.05.2019 having clean antecedents. In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43633 of 2019(2) dt.19-07-2019 2/2 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the 2nd Additional Sessions Judge cum Special Judge, Excise, Vaishali at Hajipur, in connection with Jandaha P.S. Case No.253 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
