2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 140(2), 143(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
3. As per F.I.R., this petitioner along with other named accused persons kidnapped minor son of the informant.
4. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. As per F.I.R., father of the victim along with other accused persons kidnapped the son of informant and name of the petitioner transpired during course of investigation. As per F.I.R., informant's husband Sonelal Mahto took their son to a doctor and thereafter, their son did not return. During investigation,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45038 of 2026(2) dt.22-07-2026 2/2 Sonelal Mahto was arrested who stated that he contacted one Raj Kishore Rai and told him that he wants to sell his son for his treatment. Co-accused Sonelal Mahto has already been granted regular bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 19.12.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 71301 of 2025. Petitioner has got one criminal antecedent in which he is on bail.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

Considering backdrop of the case and nature of accusation, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-IX, Darbhanga in connection with Sonki P. S. Case No. 95 of 2025, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
