Renuka Ratnakar for the State Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks after complete start of the physical Court. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sahodra P.S. Case No. 32 of 2021 instituted for the offences under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 30(i) and 30(ii) of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 27.4.2021, he is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted and allegation is of recovery of a statue of Lord Buddha from the house of Mohit Kumar and the petitioner was apprehended on

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no case has been instituted with regard to stealing of statue of Lord Buddha, as such, it cannot be said that it was a stolen item. Learned A.P.P. opposes the bail application.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody, is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Sahodra P.S. Case No. 32 of 2021. (Satyavrat Verma, J) Ravi/- U T
