====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SHIVAJI PANDEY ORAL ORDER 18-01-2021 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No.619 of 2019, arising out of Rohtas P.S. Case No. 185 of 2019, registered for the offence under Section 364-A of the Indian Penal Code. From the record, it appears that earlier the petitioner had moved before this Court for grant of regular bail in Criminal Miscellaneous No.86439 of 2019 and this Court vide order dated 19.03.2020 refused to grant bail to the petitioner on two grounds; first, the petitioner has suppressed his criminal history and second, the case diary shows that the petitioner was talking terms with other accused persons and on forensic examination, it has been found that it is the petitioner,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2760 of 2021(2) dt.18-01-2021 2/2 who was making demand of ransom of Rs.2 crores. In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after completing two years' judicial custody. (Shivaji Pandey, J) pawan/- U T
