The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Suryagadha P.S. Case No. 131 of 2017 corresponding to G.R. No. 734 of 2017 registered under Sections 304(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant, father of the deceased, alleged that his daughter was married on 24.06.2012 with one Pintu Verma but her husband and other in-laws were always torturing her. They were assaulting his daughter due to non fulfillment of demand of additional dowry and on 14.06.2016, he got information that his daughter was burnt to death.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34684 of 2017 (2) dt.10-08-2017 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners are brother-in-law and unmarried sister-in-law of the deceased. The marriage was solemnized in the year 2012 and no specific allegation of demand of dowry and torture is made against the petitioners. The petitioners have no concern with the family affairs of the deceased and her husband.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioners are brother-in-law and unmarried sister-in-law of the deceased, the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the Court below within four weeks, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai, in connection with Suryagadha Police Station Case No. 131 of 2017/ G.R. No. 734 of 2017 subject to the condition laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
