JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 31-08-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Dhaka P.S. Case No. 307 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that daughter of the informant was married with this petitioner on 11.02.2016. The informant received information on 20.10.2016 that his daughter has been killed by strangulation. Thereafter, he went to sasural of his daughter and found half burnt dead body of his daughter. It is further alleged that since the date of marriage, this petitioner along with his family members started to commit torture with his daughter for demand of Motorcycle, T.V., Golden chain etc. Petitioner is husband of the deceased.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40093 of 2017 (2) dt.31-08-2017 2/2 Keeping in view the specific allegation against this petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.

Petitioner may surrender before the court below and make prayer for regular bail.
