Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 922 of 2016 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498A of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner happens to be husband of the complainant, who is said to have tormented the complainant along with his family members over the dowry demand. On consensus of the parties, the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Center, Patna High Court, Patna to explore the possibility of settlement between the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58662 of 2018(8) dt.15-05-2019 2/2 parties. The learned Mediator vide its report annexing the terms and conditions of the settlement submitted that the dispute between parties has been resolved through the process of mediation. The Memorandum of Agreement entered into the parties indicates that both parties have entered into one time settlement.

Learned counsel for the O.P. No. 2 also conceded the same.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M. Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Complaint Case No. 922 of 2016, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C. (Prakash Chandra Jaiswal, J) rohit/- U T
