The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 21.01.2019, passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 52900 of 2018 to the extent of extending the period of surrender.

The petitioner was granted anticipatory bail in connection with a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 354B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that since the lawyer concerned did not communicate the petitioner about the order of this Court, hence, the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61091 of 2019(2) dt.16-10-2019 2/2 could not surrender before the learned Court below within the stipulated period.

Let the date of surrender be extended by three weeks calculated from the date of receipt or production of the order. The order dated 21.01.2019 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 52900 of 2018 in connection with Sigori P.S. Case No. 85 of 2017, pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I-cum-Special Judge, Patna stands modified to the extent as indicated above.

Accordingly, the modification application stands disposed of.
