2. This application has been filed for quashing of the order taking cognizance dated 10.07.2018 by which learned court below has taken cognizance against the petitioner in Phulwari Sharif P.S. Case No. 687 of 2016 giving rise to G.R. No. 7196/2016 registered under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the parties that the matter has been settled between both the parties and divorce by mutual consent has been granted and they do not want to prosecution continue any further.

4. In view of the above, this application is allowed.
