JUSTICE PARTHA SARTHY ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE) Date : 30-01-2025 It appears from the record that against the Award passed by the Labour Court, Patna dated 23.06.2011, the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation had filed a writ petition vide C.W.J.C. No. 4292 of 2013, which was dismissed. Thereafter, an L.P.A was preferred
Patna High Court CWJC No.7072 of 2012 dt.30-01-2025 2/3 vide L.P.A No. 1385 of 2018, which too was dismissed.
2. Since the writ preferred by Gaya Nath Thakur, viz., C.W.J.C. No. 7072 of 2012 was directed to be listed along with the L.P.A. preferred by the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation, this writ petition has been placed before the Division Bench even after the dismissal of the L.P.A., referred to above.
3. In any view of the matter, we find from the earlier orders passed by this Bench that the State was permitted to be impleaded as respondent No. 6 and was to inform this Court whether the Award passed by the Labour Court was published under Section 17 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947.
4. The affidavit has been filed which clearly states that it has been published in accordance with the provisions contained in Section 17 and the relevant provisions contained in Bihar Rules.
5. Thus, it appears that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed.

6. This writ petition also stands disposed off in terms of the Award.
