2. The instant application for anticipatory bail has been filed by the petitioner apprehending his arrest in a case instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 342, 406, 420, 370, 506, 34 of the IPC.
3. Prosecution case in nutshell is that co-accused Chanda Kumari, maternal aunt of the informant, along with other co-accused persons allured the informant to get her job at RHI Company, Sushila Bhawan Prabhunathnagar, Saran and taken Rs. 30,000/- from the informant. Thereafter, when she inquired about the job they said that she should engage more people to form a group and then she would get the job. After that the informant added seven more people to join the job and
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45387 of 2025(4) dt.04-11-2025 2/3 each candidate paid Rs. 30,000 /- to get the job but they never got the job. It is further alleged that petitioner and other coaccused persons threatened the informant of dire consequences on asking to return the money.
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Informant and co-accused Chanda Kumari are relatives. There is no specific allegation against the petitioner relating the payment on any amount in the hands of petitioner. Petitioner was employee at RHI Company, situated at Shushila Bhawan, Prabhunathnagar, Chapra. He has no concern with the alleged forgery. A statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and in the facts and circumstances of the case as stated above, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The petitioner is directed to surrender in the Court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of this order and in the event of his arrest or surrender in connection with Muffasil (Chapra Muffasil) P.S. Case no. 72 of 2024, he will be

No.45387 of 2025(4) dt.04-11-2025 3/3 enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482 of Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).
