20-07-2021 Heard learned counsel for the parties through video conferencing.

Earlier thrice, the prayer for bail of petitioner was rejected, vide orders contained in Annexure - 1 series to the bail petition. Petitioner has renewed the prayer for bail on the ground of delay in trial.

A report, in this regard, was called for from the court below, which has been received and kept at flag 'B'. From perusal of the same, it appears that out of eight witnesses, four witnesses have already been examined, whereas three witnesses have given up, and now, only one witness i.e. investigating officer is remained to be examined.

Considering the progress of trial, the bail petition of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2830 of 2021(5) dt.20-07-2021 2/2 petitioner is again rejected. However, since the petitioner is in custody since 01.02.2018, the learned Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible.
