The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Case No. 292 of 2021 arising out of Kishanganj P.S. Case No. 380 of 2021 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a), 41, 47 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The petitioner is said to be the driver of a public carriage from where 1200 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered.

However, looking at the period of custody of the petitioner which is from 31.07.2021 and that in the other case in which the petitioner was earlier made accused, he has been released on bail, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand)

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56914 of 2021(2) dt.23-05-2022 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-II -cum-Special Judge (Excise), Kishanganj, in connection with Kishanganj P.S. Case No. 380 of 2021.
