The petitioner apprehend his arrest in connection with Motipur P.S. Case No.201 of 2020 registered for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 188, 269, 290, 341, 323, 324, 307, 353, 427, 435, 392, 511, 504 and 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is said to have assaulted the police personnel at the time of procession of Muharum. This kind of behaviour of the petitioner cannot be tolerated in the society.

Considering the above facts, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. This application for anticipatory bail is dismissed.
