10-10-2018 Heard Sri Rajive Ranjan Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Madan Kumar, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor.

The sole petitioner apprehending his arrest in Tajpur (Halai O.P.) P.S. Case No. 390 of 2017 registered for offence under Sections 302, 307, 324, 326, 332, 333, 34 & 353 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 27 of the Arms Act, 1959 and Sections 45, 47, 30(a) & 38(1) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, has prayed for grant of bail in the event of his arrest or surrender.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner, in the present case, has falsely been implicated and it is a fit case for extending the privilege of anticipatory bail. However, considering the seriousness of accusation in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.61628 of 2018(3) dt.10-10-2018 2/2 the F.I.R. as well as fact, disclosed in paragraph - 3 of the petition, that petitioner is accused in number of cases of serious offences, there is no reason to entertain the prayer for anticipatory bail.
