The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bhagwanpur P.S. Case No. 172 of 2018 dated 22.08.2018 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016. The petitioner is in custody since 01.04.2019. The driving license of the petitioner was found in the vehicle from where 258 litres of foreign liquor is said to have been recovered. That is the only incriminating material against the petitioner in the present case.

Considering the nature of accusation against the petitioner and the period of custody, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his
