This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act. On inspection of the Public Distribution System shop of the petitioner, shortage of the food grains was noticed by the authorities.
Considering the nature of allegation of shortage of small quantity, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender, within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Mahedia P.S. Case No. 47 of 2017 to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Arwal, or successor Court, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
