The petitioner seeks bail in Meenapur P.S. Case No. 379 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272, 273 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act and section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2018.

As per prosecution case, during course of patrolling a white colour vehicle was searched and two co-accused persons were apprehended and illicit liquor and one pistol loaded with live cartridge have been recovered.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that on the disclosure of apprehended co-accused persons name of this petitioner has come in this case and he is alleged to have fled away from the place of occurrence after seeing the police party.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56489 of 2021(2) dt.07-12-2021 2/2 No incriminating article has been recovered from possession of this petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 08.11.2020. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge Excise Act, Muzaffarpur in connection with Meenapur P.S. Case No. 379 of 2020.
