1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned A.P.P. for the State and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 137(2) and 87 of the B.N.S., 2024.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and the informant alleges that the accused persons including the petitioner lured and kidnapped her daughter from the house with an intention to get her married, further at the time of leaving the house, the victim also took along with herself an amount of Rs.30,000/- along with some jewelleries.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

It is next submitted that from perusal of the allegation as alleged in the FIR, it would manifest that the victim is a major and was in love with the petitioner and they eloped. It is further submitted that the victim eloped with ornaments and cash, which amply demonstrates that the victim was not kidnapped. It is further submitted that the victim has come back and her statement was recorded, wherein she has stated that she voluntarily left her home as her parents were pressurizing to marry an old person. It is also submitted that there is delay of 26 days in instituting the instant FIR.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Raghunathpur
