JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 22-06-2021 Heard Ms. Madhuri Lata, the learned Advocate for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State. The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Goriakothi P. S. Case No.137 of 2019, instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 149, 342, 323, 307, 427, 337, 338, 188, 290, 353 of the Indian Penal Code. 19 persons including the petitioner have been named in the F.I.R. along with around 500 persons, who have not been named.

The accusation against the petitioner is of blockading the road and resorting to brick-bats as a protest against an accident on the road. No specific accusation has been levelled against the petitioner and many of the accused persons of this case have been granted the privilege of anticipatory bail.

No.40686 of 2020(2) dt.22-06-2021 2/2 Considering the afore-stated facts and taking into account that the petitioner does not have criminal antecedents, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of eight weeks, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Siwan in connection with Goriakothi P. S. Case No.137 of 2019, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. The application stands allowed.
