No. 22982 of 2020 to the extent that the time granted for surrender of the petitioner no. 6

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36979 of 2020(2) dt.02-02-2021 2/2 namely, Kundan Kumar @ Kundan Mahto be extended by a further period of two weeks.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner no. 6 was working in Assam for his livelihood and due to communication gap he could not come and furnish bail bond, and thereafter, lockdown due to COVID-19 Pandemic intervened, as such, in compliance of the order dated 25.09.2020 the petitioner no. 6 - Kundan Kumar @ Kundan Mahto could not surrender before the court below and furnish bail bond. Having regard to the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the statement made in the modification application, let the order dated 25.09.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 22982 of 2020 be modified to the extent that the time granted for surrender of the petitioner no. 6 namely, Kundan Kumar @ Kundan Mahto is extended by a further period of two weeks from today.
