2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 14 of 2026 registered for the offence under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 85, 109 and 3(5) of the BNS, 2023 and under Section 4 of the D.P. Act.

3. The petitioner, who is the husband of the victim, is said to have assaulted the victim.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he is in custody since 5.4.2026.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45605 of 2026(2) dt.09-07-2026 2/2 prayer for bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this application is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned concerned Court below in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 14 of 2026.

8. As a condition of this order, the petitioner is directed to pay a maintenance amount of Rs. 5,000/- from the month of July, 2026 to the informant and the maintenance for the month of July, 2026 shall be paid to the informant before 25.07.2026 and thereafter the maintenance amount from the month of August, 2026 shall be paid to the informant every month before the 10th day of the month.

9. It is made clear that the aforesaid maintenance order will be subject to the outcome of any order of concerned Court below passed in maintenance proceedings, if any. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U
