This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Jaynagar P.S. Case No.23 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under sections 109, 118(2), 61(2) of the B.N.S., 2023 and under section 27 of the Arms Act. 3.

The petitioner and other accused persons are said to have intercepted and fired upon two victims, who had sustained gun shot injuries.

The petitioner is in custody since 04.02.2025. He is accused in 14 more criminal cases. 5.

The victims have subsequently said that the petitioner was the liner and other accused persons have fired upon them causing gun shot injuries.

Considering the nature of allegation as well as the antecedents of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected.
