The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Mahindwara P. S. Case No. 43 of 2020, dated 05.05.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 307 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25 (1-b) and 27 of the Arms Act, 1959. In view of the allegation against the petitioner of having opened fire, leading to fire-arm injury to the victim, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to

The prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the court below and seeks bail, that shall be considered on its own merits, without being prejudiced by the fact that the present petition on his behalf has not been entertained by this Court.
