1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ(s), order(s) or direction(s), particularly in nature of certiorari, to set aside the letter dated 24.08.2015, issued under signature of the Deputy Secretary Home (Special) Department, Government of Bihar, Patna whereby and where under, the claim of the petitioner for grant of

Senani Samman Pension petitioner has been rejected on the basis that he was detained under D.R.I. and MISA during the period of emergency for less than one month, whereas the fact is that he remained in custody during the aforesaid period for more than seventeen months (17 months).

(ii) To further issue an appropriate writ(s) commanding the Respondent authorities to release arrear and current J.P. Senani Samman Yojana Pension as per Bihar Government Policy, as notified on 05.06.2009, contained in memoएन/गृह-कोषांग-74/09/2009.111."

2. Considering the nature of relief, sought for in the present writ petition, I deem it fit and proper to grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the Secretary (Special) Home Department, Government of Bihar, Patna for redressal of his subsisting grievances.
