Counsel for the petitioner is directed to remove the defect(s), as pointed out by the office, within a period of four weeks.

The petitioner seeks bail in Sessions Trial No.294 of 2019 arising out of Bagaha P.S. case No.385 of 2018 registered under Sections 302, 316, 34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Bagaha, West Champaran.

The earlier bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide Annexure 1 to the present application taking into account that the informant is an eye witness to the alleged occurrence and the petitioner is said to be the assailant.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3282 of 2021(3) dt.24-03-2021 2/2 A report was called for from the court below regarding the stage of trial. It has been reported that seven prosecution witnesses are to be examined in this case. Considering the nature of accusation and the stage of the trial, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is rejected.

The Trial Court is directed to take all necessary steps to conclude the trial preferably within a period of nine months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. (Sudhir Singh, J) Narendra/- U T
