The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 353, 332, 427, 504, 406 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30 (a), 38, 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

According to FIR, the police had gone to seized liquor from the house of the petitioner. The liquor was seized thereat when the police arrested to the husband of the petitioner. The petitioner and other family members scuffled with the police and obstructed in discharge of their official duty as well as committed murderous assault. The allegation is general and omnibus. Some of the arrested persons were sent to jail.

Considering the fact that the petitioner, who is a female, has got no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of the order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Maniyari Police Station Case No. 246 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure as well as condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
