The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act., 2016.

As per the prosecution case, 2133.720 litres of foreign liquor was recovered from the truck and the petitioner was taken into custody.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case only for the reason that he happens to be the khalasi of the truck. No incriminating article has been recovered from his possession. He is in custody since 16.07.2021 and has no any criminal antecedent.

Heard learned APP for the State.

Case no. 419 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge II-cum-Special Judge Excise, Gaya.
