JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 07-04-2021 The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondent State authorities to make payment of a sum of Rs. 4,00,000/- (Four lakhs) as ex gratia payment to the petitioner on account of death of his wife namely Asgari Khatoon who died on 20.02.2020 while serving as Anganbari Sevika at Centre No. 142, Panchayat-Padari, Dhaka, East Champaran at Motihari in view of the resolution of the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Bihar, Patna contained in Resolution No. 666 dated 22.08.2015. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.3257 of 2021(2) dt.07-04-2021 2/2 submits that the petitioner would be approaching the District Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari for redressal of his aforesaid grievances and the District Magistrate be directed to take a decision expeditiously.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari by filing appropriate representation with regard to his aforesaid grievances within a period of four weeks from today, which shall be considered by the learned District Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari and disposed off within a period of six weeks thereafter by a reasoned and speaking order, in accordance with law considering the aforesaid resolution of the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Bihar, Patna dated 22.08.2015.
