2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

"i. for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pay compensation to the petitioner for acquiring 2 katha 2 dhur land. ii. for issuance of writ of mandamus, directing respondents to pay the compensation as per the market rate with interest.

iii. for issuance of any other appropriate writ\writs, order\orders, direction directions, for which petitioner may deemed entitled under the

Patna High Court CWJC No.4723 of 2015(2) dt.01-07-2025 2/2 fact and circumstance of the case."

3. As per the counter-affidavit of respondent nos. 2 to 4, the land is recorded as Gairmajarua Malik and though the name of the petitioner's father is recorded in jamabandi register, no case number is mentioned in the remark column nor anything has been found as to whether the ex-landlord or the Government settled the land in favour of his father. He submits that the counter-affidavit was served upon the learned counsel for the petitioner but there is no reply on record.

4. Be that as it may, since there is no appearance, the writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution. (Rajiv Roy, J) Adnan/- U
