The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kasba P.S. Case No. 213 of 2014 corresponding to Special Case No. 37 of 2014 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 354, 306, 366A, 511, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012.

It has been contended that there is no truth behind the allegations made in the FIR. In course of investigation many witnesses who have their shops and stalls at the college gate or nearby have been examined by the police, but no one has supported the prosecution case or the allegation that the petitioner attempted to kidnap the girl at the college gate. In this regard, he has referred to the statement of witnesses recorded in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51800 of 2014 (3) dt.04-03-2015 2 / 2 para 13, 31, 32, 33 and 34 of the case diary. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. He has submitted that the daughter of the informant has supported the case of the prosecution in course of investigation.

Be that as it may, having regard being had to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 1st A.D.J., Purnia in connection with Kasba P.S. Case No. 213 of 2014 corresponding to Special Case No. 37 of 2014. .
