JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 18-09-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondent Authorities to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Reader.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that according to the statute framed for the purposes of grant of time bound promotion, the time bound promotion is to be granted after completion of 10 years and 25 years of service. In view of the aforesaid, the petitioner is granted liberty to file a proper representation before Respondent No.4 and the Respondent No.4 shall take into account the fact that the petitioner has already completed the Kalavadhi for the purposes of grant of
Patna High Court CWJC No.7606 of 2016 (4) dt.18-09-2018 2/2 promotion in terms of the statute in the year 1996, and accordingly, pass a reasoned order within a period of eight weeks from today.
It is needless to state that in case any consequential benefit is found payable, the same be paid within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
The present writ petition is disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
