2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sheikhpura P.S. Case No. 174 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 147, 149, 323, 341, 354, 379, 307, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the victim with a lathi which hit him on his leg.

4. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and he is in jail since 24.3.2024.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts and the period of custody, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheikhpura /concerned Court below in connection with Sheikhpura P.S. Case No. 174 of 2024.

7. As a condition of this order, the petitioner after being released on bail is directed to mark his attendance at Sheikhpura Police Station on first and third Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the police station will result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U T
