2. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Piprakothi P.S. Case No. 69 of 2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per allegation, when the informant was going to the market and reached near a canal, the petitioner came there and stabbed him. Seeing the incident, the villagers tried to intervene but the petitioner fled away. Blood was oozing out of his body. Further, the informant was rushed to the hospital.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. No motive has been mentioned in the FIR for the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49517 of 2024(2) dt.12-08-2024 2/2 alleged occurrence. He has further submitted that there is a delay of 3 days in lodging the FIR. He has also submitted that the petitioner is under custody since 30.03.2024.

5. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the informant has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the injured has suffered grievous injuries and the reason for delay in lodging of the FIR is that the informant was hospitalized.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, the petitioner above-named is directed to furnish bail bond after completion of six months under custody i.e. one month from today and on doing so, the court below shall release the petitioner on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran Motihari in connection with Piprakothi P.S. Case No. 69 of 2024, subject to the following conditions:- (i) The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
