In the instant petition, petition has prayed for the following relief(s):- "For issuance of a writ in the nature of 'mandamus' whereby and

Patna High Court CWJC No.2695 of 2021(3) dt.25-02-2022 2/2 whereunder commanding and directing the state respondents hereinabove to finish the selection process of engaging/appointing Anganwari Sevika in Ward No. 3, Panchayat-Kharsahi, P.S.-Raniganj, District-Araria, and thereafter make engagement/appointment of the petitioner on the post of Anganwari Sevika of the aforesaid place against which the petitioner's name find place at Serial No. 1 of the merit list prepared therefore; which is still pending since 2018 due to the lethargic attitude of the state respondents." The concerned selecting and appointing authority is hereby directed to complete the process of selection and appointment to the post of Anganwari Sevika for Ward No. 3, Panchayat-Kharsahi, P.S.-Raniganj, District-Araria within a period of two months from the date of receipt of this order, if it has not already finalized.
