The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sakra P.S. Case No. 402 of 2021 dated 11.08.2021 instituted for the offences under Sections 414, 365, 386 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 41, 56(B) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

From a raid at two places, a total of approximately 250 liters of liquor is said to have been recovered. From the house of the petitioner however only 29 litres of liquor has been recovered.

The petitioner is said to be in custody since 12.08.2021 and he does not have criminal antecedents.

No.57356 of 2021(2) dt.23-05-2022 2/2 For the aforestated reasons namely the period of custody and his being a person of clean antecedent, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge Excise, Muzaffarpur in connection with Sakra P.S. Case No. 402 of 2021.
