1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.(I) For issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the order dated 17-07-2014 (ANNEXURE - 5) passed by the learned Deputy Collector, Land Reforms, Sadar Chapra, Saran at Chapra (Respondent no 5) in Land Dispute Case No. 64 of 2013-14, filed by the petitioner against the Agent Sanjay Singh & Another Umesh Singh.

(II) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus and any other appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions and commanding the respondent/authorities to remove the encroachment from the public road as Plot No. 2930 and also

Patna High Court CWJC No.17234 of 2015(3) dt.05-09-2024 2/2 remove the illegal constructions made over Plot No. 2937 and Plot No. 2938, Khata No. 816, situated at Kotheyan, P.S. Jalalpur, District - Saran at Chapra."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including that of filing a suit before the learned Civil Court having competent jurisdiction for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
