The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 341, 448, 323, 324, 307, 379, 506 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is that he had caused injury with sword at the head of the informant. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the Doctor has found injury by hard and blunt substance and not by sword, hence, the prosecution allegation is inconsistent with the medical report.
