JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 07-05-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State. This is an application seeking anticipatory bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147,148,149,379,325,427,384 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegedly, one Jitendra Kumar had gone to the wine shop of the Informant where said Jitendra Kumar had demanded a ransom from the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that so far these petitioners are concerned, there is no allegation of demand of ransom and even in course of investigation, the witnesses have not alleged any overt act on the part of these petitioners.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51448 of 2014 (2) dt.07-05-2015 In view of the submission as above, let petitioners above named in the event of their arrest/surrender within four weeks from today in the Court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Smt. Niharika, learned Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Patna in Parsa Bazar P.S. case No. 135 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
