The petitioner Rajesh Kumar seeks bail in Patliputra P.S. Case No. 310 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The petitioner is husband of the informant. The informant made allegation that her husband assaulted her due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and drove her out from the house.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is in jail since 14.09.2014.

Having considered the facts aforesaid and nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner has remained in jail for about three months, he is
