Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Economic Offence P.S. Case No. 15 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under sections 406, 409, 419, 420, 467, 471, 472/34 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and sections 13(2) and 13(1)(A) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case merely because the valuation of the property was done by this petitioner being a valuer. In a similar case i.e.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56797 of 2021(3) dt.17-05-2022 2/2 Economic Office P.S. Case No. 14 of 2021, in which also the petitioner was made accused merely on the ground that he had made valuation of the property, the petitioner has been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 26.0-4.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 56962 of 2021. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Patna in connection with Economic Offence Case No. 15 of 2018 subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
