16.01.2015 Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State.
The Petitioner seeks bail in Agamkuan P.S. Case No. 185 of 2014 (Special Case No. 44 of 2014) registered under Sections 399, 402 and 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-B)A, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act and Sections 20 and 22 of N.D.P.S. Act pending before the Additional Sessions Judge-VI, Patna.
Considering the amount of charas which was recovered from the possession of the Petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to him. The prayer for bail is rejected. The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and for this reason it shall send a list of the witnesses fixing specific dates for production of the witnesses along with a copy of this order, to the Sr. Superintendent of Police, Patna, and the Sr. Superintendent of Police, Patna is directed to ensure production of the witnesses on the date so fixed by the Trial Court so that there is no further delay in trial.
