The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 341, 342, 323, 324, 379, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, this petitioner alongwith other accused persons intercepted the informant while he was returning home after closing his shop and snatched cash of Rs. 21,500/- and on protest, informant was assaulted by knife due to which he sustained injury on his head.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that as a matter of fact, some scuffle took place between the parties and taking advantage of this situation, this false and fabricated case has been lodged against this petitioner.

However, learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer and submitted that petitioner is named and it is a case of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47411 of 2022(2) dt.08-12-2022 2/2 loot, in which, informant sustained three injuries, out of which, one injury is grievous in nature.

Considering the same, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner is rejected.
