(ii) For issuance of a writ in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding the respondents to release the total sum assured of Rs. 8,25,000/- under Policy No. 546971636 i.e. the Death claim of late husband of the petitioner in her favour as she is the nominee of the said policy."

At the very outset, learned counsel for the respondents invites reference to paragraph-6 of the counter affidavit stating that pursuant to the decision of the Central Office Claim Dispute Redressal Committee, the claim of Policy No. 546971636 relating to the petitioner's husband amounting to Rs. 8,25,000/- has since been paid on 28.01.2016.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has not disputed the aforesaid stand of the respondents.
4. Having regard to the above, the writ petition stands disposed of.
