JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 02-02-2021 Heard Mr. Chhote Lal Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner who seeks modification of the order dated 02.07.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 40708 of 2019 to the extent that the time granted for surrender of the petitioner no. 4 (i.e. petitioner herein) be extended by a further period of two weeks. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was working in Punjab for his livelihood and due to communication gap he could not come and furnish bail bond, and thereafter, lockdown due to COVID-19 Pandemic intervened, as such, in compliance of the order dated 02.07.2019 the petitioner could not surrender before the court below and furnish bail bond.

Having regard to the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the statement made in the modification application, let the order dated 02.07.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 40708 of 2019 be

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36955 of 2020(2) dt.02-02-2021 2/2 modified to the extent that the time granted for surrender of the petitioner no. 4 (i.e. petitioner herein) is extended by a further period of two weeks from today.
