The petitioner seeks bail in Kanti P.S. Case No. 430 of 2014 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302 and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant Jitan Mahto alleged that his daughter was married to Rajesh Kumar Mahto eleven years ago. His son got information on mobile that his daughter was killed by her in-laws. It appears that the informant has not made any specific allegation of demand of dowry and torture against the petitioner. The deceased was married to Rajesh Kumar Mahto, the son of the petitioner eleven years ago but during that period no complaint of ill treatment was lodged. Petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner is

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1578 of 2015 (2) dt.15-01-2015 directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate (West), Muzaffarpur in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No. 430 of 2014.
