The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Sections 302, 376 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 6, 7, 8 and other sections of the POCSO Act.

Phooldeo Das, the father of the deceased, made allegation that one Jyoti Lal Mahto was running after his daughter and his daughter had gone in the field to cut grass but she did not return. Her dead body was found and there were several blister marks on the face and other parts of the body of the deceased. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the mother of Jyoti Lal Mahto. Except suspicion that the petitioner helped her son, there is no material against the petitioner. Of course, the offence is of serious nature, but the petitioner is a lady and she happens to be the mother of Jyoti Lal

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6323 of 2015 (3) dt.24-03-2015 2/2 Mahto, who is said to have been running after the daughter of the informant. The petitioner is in jail since 23.07.2014. Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, POCSO, Muzaffarpur in Baruraj P.S.
