JUSTICE ALOK KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 03-07-2025 Heard Mr. Amrendra Kumar Sinha, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Manish Kumar, learned AC to AAG-6 and Ms. Binita Singh, learned counsel for the State Information Commission, Patna, Bihar.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this writ application may be disposed of directing the Superintendent of Police, Madhubani to release the payment in favour of the petitioner in terms of letter no. 305 dated 07.08.2015 (Annexure-4).

3. As prayed for, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the Superintendent of Police, Madhubani to release the payment in favour of the petitioner in terms of letter

Patna High Court CWJC No.4122 of 2016(8) dt.03-07-2025 2/2 no. 305 dated 07.08.2015 (Annexure-4). It is, however, made clear that the payment shall be made personally to the petitioner upon his physical presence before the Superintendent of Police, Madhubani.

4. With regard to relief nos. 1(A), (B) and (D), it is observed that these reliefs have been claimed for issuance of writ of mandamus, which this Court is unable to grant for the simple reason that prior to filing this writ application seeking writ of mandamus, the petitioner has not filed any representation, hence, the liberty is granted to the petitioner to seek these remedies by filing a representation before appropriate authority and only if the same is rejected, the petitioner can approach the High Court.

5. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the present writ application is disposed of.
