In the present writ application, the following reliefs have been sought for on behalf of the petitioners : 1(i) To direct the concerned respondents to enquire into the financial irregularities on his own level committed by the Field Officers in connivance with Respondent No.12 and son of Ex-Mukhiya of Gram Panchayat Raj Panchov, Block Hanuman Nagar, District Darbhanga in distributing the

Patna High Court CWJC No.3064 of 2016(4) dt.09-01-2019 2/3 compensation amount to the farmers in lieu of damage of their Rabbi crops due to natural calamity or to entrust the enquiry to the Vigilance Bureau of Investigation or any expert Agency, so that guilty officers/staff/beneficiaries could be punished. (ii) To direct the respondents to make payment adequate compensation amount to the petitioners in the light of guideline issued by the Agriculture Department, Government of Bihar vide his letter bearing memo No.1998 dated 28.4.2015 (Annexure1) whereby all the District Magistrate, except District Magistrate of Gopalganj had been directed to identify affected farmers in the light of directions contained in the said letter and to ensure payment immediately, however not a single farthing has been paid to the petitioner No.2 as yet and at the same time, petitioner No.1 and 2 have not been paid adequate amount of compensation in terms of aforesaid guideline of the State Government, reason best known to the respondents.

Considering the reliefs sought for in the present writ application, the petitioners seeks permission to file a detailed representation before the Respondent No.6 i.e. The District Magistrate, Darbhanga within a period of 30 days from today. Permission is accorded.

The Respondent No.6 i.e. The District Magistrate, Darbhanga after giving an opportunity of hearing shall dispose
