2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bihariganj P.S. Case No. 17 of 2025 dated 15.01.2025 registered for the offences punishable under sections 137(1), 87, 303(2), 115(2), 126(2), 352, 351(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. The main submissions advanced by petitioner's counsel are that the main allegation is against the co-accused Hasrul Ansari and the petitioner is simply alleged to have helped the said co-accused in abducting the victim on a motorcycle and there is no allegation of sexual assault by this petitioner with the victim, in fact the petitioner is a neighbour of the informant,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47962 of 2025(3) dt.15-11-2025 2/2 who is a 25 year old married lady having two children, therefore, the allegation that she was abducted by the petitioner for the purpose of sexual assault, is completely false.

4. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer of the petitioner.

5. Considering the nature of the allegation appearing against the petitioner from the victim's statement, which shows that the petitioner helped the main co-accused in abducting the victim on a motorcycle and coupled with the pendency of the investigation, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer stands rejected.
